Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do when using Ambicast. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Because Ambicast can publish content to public-facing screens, we take misuse seriously. If you break this policy we may remove content, suspend, or terminate your account.

2. Prohibited content

You must not upload, publish or display through the Service any content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful to minors.
• Infringes anyone else’s intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights.
• Is discriminatory or incites hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
• Contains malware, or links intended to phish, defraud or deceive.
• Promotes illegal activity, or the sale of illegal or heavily-restricted goods.
• Would breach advertising standards or consumer-protection law where the screen is displayed.

3. Prohibited conduct

• Accessing or attempting to access accounts, screens or data that are not yours.
• Probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission.
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers or networks (including denial-of-service attempts).
• Circumventing usage limits, screen limits, authentication or rate limits.
• Scraping, reselling or sublicensing the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Using the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

4. Your responsibility

You are responsible for all content you publish and for ensuring it is appropriate for the location and audience of each screen. Where a screen is in a public place, you are responsible for compliance with local rules on signage, advertising and accessibility.

5. Reporting abuse

If you believe content published through Ambicast breaches this policy, please report it to help@ambicast.tv with enough detail for us to investigate.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, disabling screens, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting unlawful activity to the authorities. Where practical and lawful, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach.
